The Hoy Polloy is an American band formed in 2012 by lead vocalist and multi-instrumentalist K Sos and former lead guitarist Nick Romanelli in Miami, Florida. The multi-genre group got its name from the Greek phrase “hoi polloi,” meaning “the masses.” Their first album On the Way to Rome features everything from blues to psychedelic rock, soulful ballads and some of K Sos’s signature hip hop.
