Imogen Ferdinando is an Australian composer, cellist and conductor. Her international debut as a composer took place at the World Saxophone Congress 2023, Spain, with her piece ‘Kandinsky’s Little Accents’ for alto saxophone. In 2024 she was a recipient of the Ian Potter Cultural Trust’s Emerging Artist Grant which enabled her to travel to the Netherlands to further her study in chamber music as a composition fellow at the Cortona Sessions for New Music 2024, with premieres of her works taking the stage at Akoesticum, Netherlands.
