"Sweden is a prolific exporter of fine synthpop, so I’m rarely surprised when I stumble upon a new band I like that hails from the Nordic country. Such is the case of Current One, a band I started listening to last year. Current One is a solo project from Markus Enström, who hails from Piteå, a coastal city in the northern part of Sweden. He’s been tinkering around with music as far back as 1994 and began to release finished songs in 2020.
