Rand Messmer is a folk/Canadiana singer-songwriter from Vancouver, BC. A guitarist from a young age, Rand began to devote himself to song writing in his early teens, and by 15 was able to reach out to legendary songwriter Rodney Crowell, from whom he received valuable song critique and advice at a pivotal and formative time in his life as a writer. By his late teens, Rand found himself in pursuit of a Nashville publishing deal and began recording country song writing demos at the famed Farm Studios.
