Masterkidravi is a beatmaker and sample creator blending the rhythms of hip hop, R&B, jazz, and electronic music. Guided by the legendary mentors Bobby Torres, Mel Brown, and Carlton Jackson, Ravi began playing drums and percussion at 8 years old, later expanding to piano and other instruments. Ravi’s sound draws from a wide range of influences, shaped by time spent with musicians in Italy and Germany. These connections, along with his roots in Portland, inform his approach: layering rhythm, melody, and texture into beats that feel both grounded and explorative.
