Dr. Yaro, real name Yaro, is a French singer of Comorian origin. He grew up in the 19ᵉ arrondissement of Paris and in Blanc-Mesnil (93). Passionate about music since childhood, he began his career under the pseudonym Yaro before adopting the stage name Dr. Yaro. In 2018, he and his cousin formed the duo Dr. Yaro & La Folie, blending pop, Afro and rap influences. Their unique musical style has led to them being spotted by artists such as Gims, Naza, Gradur and KeBlack.
