Kebuntua is a band that was formed in 2018 and started with hangout kids that has interest in music and also happen to be in the same area of residence. The name "Kebuntua" itself is a play on the nickname of one of the areas in Purwakarta, namely "Kebon Kolot" a Sundanese term from the word "Kebuntua". At that time Mpun (Vocalist & Bassist) had the initiative to invite his friends to form a band, they agreed and formed "KebunTua".
