Melbourne born and raised, a country girl at heart, Shona McCoy is a pop artist with a hip-hop/rap influence. Growing up in a home where her mother listened to 50's and 60’s rock’n’roll and her father played percussion, Shona fell in love with music at a young age. “I loved the radio and I loved pop music. I heard rap music for the first time when my cousin played the Dangerous Minds soundtrack.
