R. Cory Johnson is a native of Jacksonville, Fl. and has been playing music for all of his life. As a young child, he grew up listening to Gospel music on 8 tracks and record players, as well as the radio, cassette tapes .He started playing the drums at his church at the age of 10, and around the same time, he began learning melodies on the piano and keyboard, which started him on his 2nd instrument choice.
