Dymbur is a well-known folk metal band in the Indian metal scene, particularly known for their unique blend of tribal elements with heavy metal music. They have a dedicated following and are respected for their innovative sound and powerful live performances. The band was formed in 2012 and they switched their genre from Djent/Prog Metal to 'Khasi Thraat Folk Metal' in 2020. “DYMBUR” is a word of KHASI origin that translates into English as “Fig Tree”.
