My name is Rune Robert Friis. I am Danish bass player with a whole lotta love for the blues. I have been fortunate as I was raised in the blues tradition by some of the Danish blues scene’s great players. Through the years I have developed a heartfelt passion for blues music and all of its traditions. Beside the pure joy of playing the bass I also feel a genuine sense of duty to keeping this great tradition alive and well.
