Originally assembled in 2021, Sudden Merganzer started as the brain child of guitarist/vocalist Kyle Roberts. Roberts spent much of his late teens and early twenties fixated on composing guitar based riffs saturated with warbly effects, collecting what gear he could afford and ultimately multi-tracking early demos of what would become the material Sudden Merganzer would begin playing out with.
