Born on July 23, 1994, in Istanbul, Elif Canfezâ Gündüz is a distinguished Turkish kemençe artist. Raised in a musical family, she began her formal training with piano lessons under Züleyha Baghirova, the daughter of renowned composer Kara Karayev. She later pursued kemençe studies at Istanbul Technical University Turkish Music State Conservatory, graduating in 2018, where she was a student in Neva Özgen’s kemençe class.
