Artist: DJ “Tru” Chavez (November, 27, 1990) grew up in the 2000’s listening to Dr Dre, Eminem, and Tupac. Inspired by life growing up in the slums of Albuquerque, New Mexico better known as the “Land of Entrapment” where getting out is nearly impossible and listening to music is the only break from reality. Following along with what he saw everyday, that slanging drugs equals success, Tru fell in the trap that was on every street corner.
