The very name, "Holy Scum," practically demands to be spat out with a visceral snarl, a fitting descriptor for the bludgeoning sludge and feedback-drenched improv rock conjured by its creators. Initially forged in the industrial heart of Manchester, Holy Scum emerged from a potent collaboration between guitarist Peter J Taylor (formerly of Action Beat), Gnod co-founder Chris Haslam on bass, and his bandmate Jon Perry on drums.
