Born in Mesa, Arizona, Victor David Gutiérrez Coronado (known as ‘David Gutierrez’) started his pathway with music when he was just 9 at the “Academia de Artes ITSON” in Ciudad Obregón, Sonora, Mexico. There is where he first learned how to play piano and learned Music Theory before eventually moving back to the US one year later. With both of his parents being immigrants from Mexico, Gutierrez really began getting into Mexican, Cuban, and South American Music.
