We started this project for a few reasons, it was a really hard time for us between soulcrushing depression and pain, a harsh break up, an eating disorder, and a since reformed pill addiction, we were started out of a really bitter and dark place and a cold basement one bleak December day. As the vocalist, I wanted to eliminate emotion lost in translation, so I decided to form a band inspired by the french screamo outfit cathedraal and the noise skramz band portrait of decay that was entirely improvised, recorded on my phone, loud, noisy, sad, and eventually entirely live.
