‘PlaidSong are a Perth-based duo who specialize in performing songs and telling the history associated with each song. Some songs are traditional and others are their own compositions. Nicky is a professional historian and she has sung and performed in many shows and concerts over the years. Syd is a professional forester based in Perthshire. He has sung and played guitar in a number of folk groups over the years. Syd & Nicky have performed together over a number of years, forming PlaidSong to showcase their shared love of history and music.
