Jürgen Franz Is one of the most varied flutists of his generation. Jürgen Franz studied in Stuttgart with Jean Claude Gérard and further studies brought him to Maxence Larrieu and Sir James Galway who both had a great influence on him. Jürgen Franz was member of the Bielefeld Philharmonic Orchestra and the Stuttgart Philharmonic Orchestra. Since 2000 he is a member of the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra in Hamburg.
