Raised on 90's hip hop, MEL's flow is unapologetic and hard-hitting, portraying the realities of life in an unincorporated territory. An educator by trade, MEL uses hip hop and poetry as a tool for empowerment and liberation. The self-described "rap-tivist," got his start busting rhymes in poetry slams and underground cyphers.
