Amalie Dahl is a Danish saxophone player, composer and bandleader, currently based in Oslo (Norway) who has made a solid impression on the Nordic jazz scene with her distinct sound and strong integrity both as an improvising musician and as an impressive composer. During the last couple of years she has been highly visible through critically acclaimed projects, such as her own Amalie Dahl’s Dafnie, winning single of the year at the Danish Music Awards Jazz with a track from their album ”Står op med solen” (Sonic Transmission/Aguirre, 2024).
