Hiwa Akreyi, born on January 23, 1991, in Iraq-Kurdistan, moved to Denmark at the age of 1. From a young age, Hiwa had a passion for music, especially Kurdish music, and began singing as a child. At 29, Hiwa's father discovered his talent for playing the oud. Inspired by the late artist Remazan Akreyi, Hiwa released his first album in 2020 and the second album "Newroz" in the following year, featuring Remazan Akreyi's songs.
