_Corvallis is a Post-Rock and Ambient band hailing from the picturesque Treasure Coast of Florida. Formed nearly two years ago, their composer Matt Irving draws his inspiration from a mix of cinematic masterminds such as Danny Elfman in combination with post rock bands such as This Will Destroy You and Caspian with a dash of synth driven icons M83 and Aphex Twin. The expansive, emotional landscapes of their music evoke both the quiet serenity of vast outdoor vistas and the intensity of fleeting, powerful moments in nature as well as the human experience.
