THE BRAND NEW BARBARIANS (BNB) were founded in the late 1990s by members of the Austrian rock outfit BAHÖÖ (Gerald "Futsch" Furian, Georg Edlinger and Jürgen "Doc G" Gerstmayer) with the intention to revive forgotten Rhythm & Blues and Rock gems by inducing them an edgy charme thru a reduced two guitars/drums line-up. In the course of time, the band expanded their line-up and repertoire to include their own compositions, and since then they have relied on blues-infected rock and funk.
