It started in a basement in Calgary, when a friend showed Mitch Vavra how to work a set of turntables. From that moment, he was hooked and began DJing and later studied music production and audio-engineering at Pyramind, the institute for digital audio training, in San Francisco. Since then, performing as Mixol, Vavra has spun across Canada and the States, finding joy in seeing people come alive on the dance floor.
