Los Angeles based Industrial Slacker Rock group, Girl Racers, launched in 2018 as an independent project in San Francisco. Ruben Martinez discovered the initial direction of the project indulging in inspiration from bands such as Pardoner, Forth Wanderers, Balkans, SPIRIT OF THE BEEHIVE and Frankie Cosmos. Martinez spent the early stages of Girl Racers releasing years worth of solo demos before soon establishing the group. In 2020 their first single was released to major platforms.
