Bali Hai blends ambient, atmospheric movements from Kyle Stocking, tasteful percussion from Brogan Marcotte, and the introspective, often melancholy songwriting from Elijah Gundlach. Starting their musical endeavor together in early 2021, the three headed to a secluded cabin in Welches, Oregon to begin writing. Managing to accumulate enough material for an album over the weekend, they headed home to Portland to begin recording. The end of 2022 saw production completed, and in March of 2023 their debut single Hypnotize was released. The following month Bali Hai released their album Tell Me ...
