Hawk started writing and performing solo in 1999. After years of performing solo, and with his band, Forgotten Nobody (2001-2002, 2005-2008), personal tragedy and some good friends convinced him to dust off his songs in 2010 and take the stage once more. He hasn't stopped since. He released his first professional studio album in September of 2015, Steve Hawk: The Demons In My Heart's Home.
