Family Vacation is a guitar-driven indie rock duo based out of Chicago, IL. Led by multi-instrumentalists Jacob Chatfield and Bob Crandell, and often joined by a revolving door of friends and family including Max Niemann and Peter Cimbalo, the project began in 2019 with their debut album America. The band’s upcoming studio debut, Are We Criminals?, brings the band back to its roots, as the EP is a selection of songs re-recorded and reimagined from the band’s first demos written by Chatfield in his house in Lexington, Kentucky.
