Sylvanaut is the instrumental one-man band of Adelaide musician Jordan Kane, drummer of bands Nautilus and Kios. Sylvanaut blends elements of many forms of atmospheric rock/metal such as Post-Rock, Post-Metal, Shoegaze and Blackgaze to create a sound that is atmospheric and emotive, capturing the feelings one gets when hiking through the woods, staring up at a starry night sky or sailing out at sea. The name Sylvanaut is comprised of two parts. Sylva, which in Latin translates to forest, and -naut, which comes from Greek and means voyager. Sylvanaut's debut album "Strings Tied to Stars...
