Sony Jxm is an alternative rock and synth rock artists based in Perth, Western Australia. Originally hailing from the UK, Sony Jxm wished to break away from the hardcore punk scene of Perth, and create a sound closer to his roots. In doing so, he been creating a sound unique to what he has found in both the UK and Australia, emotional and empowering lyrics close to his heart, with a meld of electronic music, rock and pop elements. Some influences include New Order, Sleep Token, The Weeknd, Rag'n'Bone Man and Hozier.
