Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Matthew Pineda rebranded himself as Matt Cinematic during the shift of the 2020 pandemic. At a young age, Matt was constantly driven by his creative expression through drawing, coloring, and sketching his own universe. Growing up on the North West side of San Antonio, as a teenager, he moved to expressing himself with words as a young poet, tying stories to the worlds he created and illustrating micro-expressions between class in his notebook.
