Global Village Trucking Company

One of several groups to emerge from London’s alternative scene of the early 70s, the Global Village Trucking Company came to national prominence in 1973. The line-up was fluid, but it was Jon Owen (guitar/vocals), Jimmy Lascelles (keyboards), Mike Medora (harmonica, guitar, vocals), John McKenzie (bass) and Simon Stewart (drums) who featured on the ‘benefit’ release, Greasy Truckers Live At Dingwalls Dance Hall.
