Eliécer Izquierdo was born in the Republic of Panama, in Central America. From a very young age he was influenced by a great diversity of music between salsa, bolero, rock, jazz and Latin American music. He studied classical guitar at the National Institute of Music of Panama with the great guitarist Teresa Toro. At the age of 18 years old he began his professional career playing with Rómulo Castro and Grupo Tuira, a group of the renowned singer-songwriter Rómulo Castro, and from there he began to work with some of the finest musicians in Panama, such as Dino Nugent and Marden Paniza.
