Sara Alhinho sees herself as an artist without borders - rooted in Cape Verde, inspired by the sounds of the world. Born in Portugal to a Cape Verdean mother and Mexican father, Alhinho embodies an intercontinental musical identity. In 2014, she recorded her first solo album, Mosaico, for which she receives the Capeverdean Music Awards. For the last five years, Alhinho has been living in Lisbon, where she released her second electro-acoustic album “Ton di Petu”, which took her on tour to diverse cities in Europe.
