Simon Westman is a Swedish pianist and composer. He started to take piano lessons at the age of eleven, and was first classically trained. Debussy quickly became a favorite, during this period. After some years, Simon began playing jazz and was later educated at the college of music in Gothenburg. After graduating in Gothenburg, Simon studied another year at the College of music in Cologne, Germany, where he had the privilege to have the British jazz pianist John Taylor as a teacher.
