Formed from a group of close friends, Flat Venus are a quintet inspired by the dream-pop and folk band scene of the 90s. Since their introduction onto the scene in April 2024, the group has seen a quick growth in their following, having already gained headline shows, festival slots and gigs outside of their home city. With a wistful and foreboding approach to their harmony-heavy songs that “verge on Gregorian chant at times”, the group specialise in vulnerable lyrics, spaced-out, jangly guitars, and a driving rhythm section.
