The western hills of North Carolina echoes through the twangy, southern style of Brad Howard. He grew up in the small town of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina. His dad was a fan of artists like Merle Haggard, Charley Pride, and Don Williams, which led Brad to listening to country radio on a regular basis.
