Symphony the System has been making music since age 4. Since 2019, they’ve been using their knowledge of, and experience with mental health to de-stigmatize their disorder through fashion, art and song. Symphony uses their self expression to highlight the gravity of self-discovery. Symphony wrote their first official song at the age of 8—a hymn called “’Twas On A Night”—which was published in the African American Lectionary. In the years following, Symphony had variations of a poem entitled “Fear and Hope” released in several publications including the “International Who’s Who of Poetry 20...
