Brought up in one of London's most diverse melting pots, Megz focused his sights on spearheading the rap scene in Southall, before targeting the world. Being Somali in London wasn't seen as appealing and many negative connotations were attached to being of Somali descent. As a result Megz navigated the trials and tribulations that befell him regularly. With his reality based raps, and ability to turn his daily obstacles, celebrations and hopes into impactful thought provoking lyrics; he has allowed a whole generation of Somali youth to feel prideful in being Somali.
