In 2014, the band that would be known as Space Comma Space was formed in a high school in South Jakarta. The band consists of singer-songwriter Adil Akbar and guitarist, bassist, keyboardist, and all-around nice guy Adiguna Palinrungi. Sharing a common love for the many sub-genres of rock and pop, ranging from dream pop to baroque rock, the two bonded over the album Transformer by Lou Reed.
