Northern Sparks is a Filipino alternative rock indie band formed in 2014. Currently comprised of members Jonathan Ian "jian" Catalan (lead vocals & samples), Jonathan "jong2x" Ampo (lead guitars & backing vocals), Mikko Liboon (rhythm guitar, backing vocals), Marc Daniel "maco" Fernandes (bass guitar), and Victor Junvie Genosas (drums and percussion). Each had met earlier during a local gig while they were still with their own respective bands performing on the same event.
