Andy Reed started out his career as a drummer at the age of 14, playing in bands professionally around the DC/MD/VA area before he could legally get into clubs. Throughout his teen years and into his 20s, Reed earned the nickname “The Hammer” - named after his heavy John Bonham-style of playing the kick drum - and eventually landing endorsements with Soultone Cymbals and Collision Drumsticks. He has rehearsed, recorded and gigged with a number of bands from 2010-2020, including Crash Empire, New Order of Existence, Rhett Repko, Domi Dow Jones, Irresponsible, Joint Operation, Metanium, Freak...
