A Lake of Ayes is a 4 piece Post-Metal/Shoegaze band from Manchester UK. Formed in 2018 with ex-members from Alter Eden and Dead Sea Apes. Taking influences from bands such as Cult of Luna, Bossk, Isis and God is an Astronaut the band introduces a sound palette of crushing heaviness, broad atmosphere and urgent vocals. With live performances aimed to provoke a spectrum of emotions ranging from raw aggression to blissful introspection as the room is filled with immersive sonic walls.
