With influences from the postpunk and new wave scene Pär-Ola Henriksson ,the original bass player of the Swedish cult punk band Shit Kids, (also the current bass player of BRAIN), formed The Scree Fall in Stockholm in 2016 after he made some postpunk bass licks to start with. He then met guitarist and singer Dan Jonsson, (Ragnarök, Triangulus, Tow Truck Two, Ökenbröderna, Obygden), and drummer Anders Lönnkvist (Myrbein, Syster Lycklig, Skallarna, Kretsen, Soda), forming the first lineup of the band.
