Behind Lofi Astronauts, is the talented drummer and producer Birk Nevel from Copenhagen, Denmark. He´s a former member of the hip hop collective “Gypsies”, who collaborated with several “Stones Throw” artists like Wild Child, Roc C, Dudley Perkins, OHNO, DJ Romes and Guilty Simpson. Inspired by the Detroit sound and the legendary J Dilla, Birk began producing beats on his own.
