The Oblivion is an alternative rock band based in Clifton, New Jersey. Started by vocalist/guitarist AJ Knapp and drummer Jack Schaeffer in September 2019 as a cover band, it wasn’t long until they played their first show at The Meatlocker in Montclair NJ in November 2019. Since then, The Oblivion has established itself as a band that everybody can listen to and enjoy, taking elements from all different styles of heavy, fast, and energetic music, including grunge, punk, garage rock, stoner rock, and many others.
