Born in Southern-California, J Saun spent his early childhood battling homelessness, staying in shelters and hotels after escaping a domestic violence situation. In 3rd grade, J Saun was expelled from school for fighting. As a result, he became homeschooled. At the age of 12, J Saun was placed into foster care. Eventually he was returned into his mother's custody. It was in high school that J Saun developed his passion for rapping. It started as him and his friends writing raps for fun. After high school, he began performing at clubs and released his debut mixtape "Freshman of the Year...
