The Hill is an Americana artist/project from Philadelphia, PA, founded upon the songs of Jon Kowit. Kowit was behind the scenes with Brooklyn’s Ascend Records, but had never shared his own music, until the release of the debut album of The Hill in 2024. "Get In Line," comes after Kowit reconnected with multi-instrumentalist Mike "Slo Mo" Brenner (Jason Molina, Wild Pink, Susan Werner, Marah, Aaron West & The Roaring Twenties), who agreed to produce one song.
