Born in Decatur, GA, ACXS gained an interest in producing after hearing electronic duo Daft Punk. Inspired to be a DJ, ACXS tried his hand at mixing and blending hip hop and electronic music to create a new sound, combining traditional house beats with trap and hip-hop elements. He describes his sound as a mix between deep house, trap beats, R&B vibes, and 90s drums with a modern twist that sounds like a trademark ACXS production.
